The Corridor Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is an organization made up of elected officials and appointed representatives of Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Marion, Hiawatha, Robbins, Ely, and Fairfax. The MPO is tasked with reviewing and approving transportation investments in the Cedar Rapids metropolitan area.

Since its inception, the major activity of the Corridor MPO has been the preparation of areawide plans to help guide orderly growth and development within the region.

Connections 2040 is the shortened name for the Corridor Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). The Plan was adopted by the Policy Board on July 15, 2010.
