Governor’s Transportation 2020 Advisory Commission (CAC)
The Corridor Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) would like to make the metro area aware of the Governor’s Transportation 2020 Advisory Commission (CAC). The CAC has been tasked with assisting the Iowa DOT complete its review of the current levels of the road use tax fund and the sufficiency of those revenues for the projected construction and maintenance needs of city, county, and state governments in the future.
The CAC assisted in seeking public input for and providing public education about the study’s findings through six public meetings that were scheduled across the state during the summer of 2010. The CAC's findings were reported on November 8, 2011.
