This steering committee is comprised of staff from Cedar Rapids, Marion, Linn County, and Corridor MPO. The purpose of the steering committee is to help with the development of a plan that will guide development so that it occurs in an orderly and predictable manner that is consistent with community goals. The plan will also help the various local governments cooperate more effectively and make informed, consistent, and predictable decisions in regards to development in the district plan area.
