TTAC is comprised of engineers, planners, and other transportation officials who work for the CMPO jurisdictions, along with representatives of the state and federal government. TTAC reviews all transportation plans and programs that are within the CMPO’s jurisdiction, and provides recommendations to CMPO on all aspects of these plans and programs including the long-range plan and the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), as well as providing recommendations on any transportation issues. One of TTAC’s biggest tasks is the review and recommendation to the policy board of projects to receive Surface Transportation Program (STP) funds. Corridor MPO receives approximately $2.5 million dollars annually to program on road or transit projects.
